Ranch Summer Camps

            Throughout the summer, Center Lake Ranch offers week long ranch camps for youth entering 4th through 12th grade. These ranch camps concentrate on horsemanship riding and lessons, fun activities, an intimate atmosphere and a Christ centered focus. Each ranch camper will have at least 20 hours at the ranch developing riding skills, horse knowledge, and engaging in fun ranch activities under the supervision of our Center Lake Ranch staff. Ranch Activities: Riding lessons, horsemanship ground lessons, trail rides, cattle sorting, cattle herding, petting farm, grooming, tacking, barn soccer, cook out ride, hay rides, camp fires, plus many more base camp activities! 

 

Western Camp

Western camp is for campers going into 4th through 9th grade dream about being a young cowboy or cowgirl! Western camp offers westerns style riding that includes riding lessons, horsemanship ground lessons, trail rides, cattle sorting, cattle herding, and all our base camp activities.

 

English Camp

English camp is for campers going into 4th through 9th grade who want to grow in their English riding experience or try it out for the first time. This camp has the same schedule and enjoys all the same activities as western camp. English camp just specializes in the English style of riding!

 

Trail Camp

Trail camp is for campers going into 8th through 12th grade. Trail camp is a weeklong camp that spends four days out on the Michigan shore to shore trail. This camp specializes on trail riding and packing while enjoying tubing down the river, hanging out around a camp fire, and spending time away from the busy commotion of life.

Center Lake Ranch is having its first ever Ride for the Ranch! This event is open to all horse enthusiasts. This event is a fundraiser for the ministry of Center Lake Ranch that allows past campers, staff, friends of the camp, and horse enthusiasts an opportunity to enjoy our tRails, arenas, and other ranch activities, While also supporting the ranch financially!  

 

Cost: $75 (bring your own horse)

          $125 (ride a White Heart Ranch horse)

*Ask about Housing, RV Hook-Up, and Stall Rentals costs.

All horses must have valid Cogins Test

All riders must sign waiver before riding

All minor riders must have guardian sign waiver

All minor riders must wear helmet while riding

 

Rules/Guidelines are available online and will be posted. CLBC reserves the right to dismiss any participants for not complying with camp rules or for reckless behavior.

Ride-a-thon

Ride-a-Thon

May 6, 2017

This spring on May 6th from 9am to 6pm Center Lake Ranch is having a kids ride-a-thon for campers ages 9 to 15. This ride-a-thon is a fundraiser for Center Lake Ranch and all proceeds will go to building new three season ranch cabins. This ride-a-thon is a great way for past or new campers to enjoy a full day at the ranch while also supporting the ministry of Center Lake Ranch. The day will consist of at least 5 hours in the saddle; riding in the arena, playing games, cattle sorting, and trail riding. We ask that each participant donates a minimum of $150. This can be a personal donation, or participants can get raise support through donations from friends, family, etc. Our goal for this year’s ride-a-thon is to raise $2000!

Closing – 6pm
