Explorer Camp

Kids will discover what camp is all about at Explorer Camp. Experience three days packed full of games, food, worship, new friends, and sleeping in a cabin.

As parents, it is hard to imagine our children growing and preparing for new adventures. Explorer Camp is a great step in helping your child discover responsibility while living in a new environment. Your child will experience a fun-filled week as he/she interacts with staff, new friends, the waterfront, games, chapel, and cabin activities that will stretch, invigorate, and impact your child for a lifetime.

Energy Camp
Entering Grades 3-6

Imagine 100 Energy Campers in one place for a week. This is a week that will harness all their energy and channel it into a life-changing experience. Your child will not want to miss the adventure and challenge.

Energy Camp is designed for the upper elementary child, with the understanding that they bring a load of energy and a never-ending curiosity for life. During this week, we will help them explore God’s creation, learn new skills, and grasp the meaning of being a child of God. Each day is filled with adventure, including the waterfront, food, games, cabin activities, devotions. If you are looking for a way to help your child grow and strengthen their commitment to truth, then Energy Camp is the choice for you.

Have your staff gone through background checks?

ALL Center Lake Staff have gone through an extensive hiring process that includes; background checks, interviews, reference checks, etc. 

Can I contact my camper during the week?

Center Lake is committed to giving both the campers and parents a great experience. We believe that it's important for campers to be fully invested into their week at camp. We encourage parents to write letters, send emails, and packages to their campers during their week at camp.

What safety measures do you take? 

Camper Safety is our number one priority at Center Lake! We take steps and work hard to ensure that all campers are physically, emotionally, and socially safe while at Center Lake.

Is the camp licensed?

Center Lake is licensed by the State of Michigan and all staff members go through an extensive training and background check process. 

Drop off and pick up times? 

All registered campers will receive emails from the camp with registration and closing information. 

Our standard registration and closing times are as follows

Check-In - Sunday 3:30-4:30

Pickup - Friday 11:00
